Just this morning, Blizzard started teasing all of us with the mysterious splash screen on its homepage. Could this be the announcement of a new Diablo game, but by the looks of the image (which looks like either the Ice from the Frozen Throne in the Warcraft series, or minerals from StarCraft), my best guess is that the impending revelation’s probably something about Warcraft or StarCraft.


When I opened the website earlier this morning, there wasn’t any glow in the middle, as you can see in the image above. But a little while ago, the image was updated to Ice2.jpg, and it seems the ice/mineral or whatever, is splitting open to reveal what’s behind it.

The updated image is below for your viewing (and guessing) pleasure. I just wish they’d speed up the process so we could all know what the devil they’re up to!
